All of Unique Rustique's "exclusive" products are hand painted and hand crafted. We take pride in our work and in our products and know you'll appreciate all of the time, effort and care we use when making each and every item. Items that we do not ourselves fabricate, but find from other vendors, are carefully scrutinized before we even add them to our line.

I started out in the bedspread business in 1973! Sewing for other interior designers all throughout the 1980's gave me the background to do what I do now. After completing my education in interior design, I stopped working for other designers and concentrated on my own clients. The biggest request I had for years was for something different than everybody else has. With a new purpose, I set out to fabricate the unusual. Adding my own custom painted designs to what I already knew how to do well. With over 30 years experience I have custom bedding that has literally been shipped around the world. Not to mention the model homes, and show case homes I've had my work displayed in. The end results have been interesting...to date every person who has responded to their order has been thrilled with the quality. The number one response is that they do not realize it will be as nice as it is. It is very hard to show the detail and care through an online picture. And....everything I ship out is made to last. I know if you take appropriate care in cleaning, etc. these products will last longer than you will want them too (If your husband doesn't want new things until the old have fallen apart - you will have these items around a LONG time!)
