Life Since the Fire !!!
(And How to Custom Order!)
June 18, through June 26, 2002 - The Rodeo/Chedeski Forest Fire wiped out almost a half million acres in the White Mountains of Arizona. 495 homes were lost...our home and business were among them!
As you can see....this is what was left of our business! We had a ton to do! Starting over was a long and arduous process. It took over 30 years to build our design library. All our samples, patterns, proto-types, supplies and finished products turned into ash. All the machinery and tools necessary to our business has to be re-purchased...but...the hard part is the re-making of all the patterns and designs. All these designs were very time consuming to re-do!
We tend to be very positive thinking type people...which is what helped us through this ordeal. It also makes us think we can get our 30 years of business art, designs, and prototypes re-done quickly. We are learning there are not enough hours in the day to accomplish all we need to do. For all of you who want to see all the hand painted designs...they have been coming as fast as we can! (We are careful to fill the orders we receive as fast as we can...leaving us little time to paint sample boards!)
